Shalom house is a stone builtproperty situated in the historic quarter of Youghal.

It is located on the laneway besides the Almshouse. It was originally a Protestant Asylum constructed by the Protestant Relief Society in 1838 to provide accomodation for the homeless. Renovated in 1992 it was renamed Shalom House and currently provides sheltered housing. The building is not open to the public.
